dadá Joãozinho x Olha Pra Mim

"Inspired by Brazilian popular music, hip-hop, baile funk, indie, and experimental electronic music, the São Paulo-based artist crafted a sound all his own" - BILLBOARD (Emerging Latin Artists On Our Radar)

"as laid back as it is endlessly replayable" - THE FADER

Hailing from Brazil, dadá Joãozinho and Popoto (Raça) wanted to make a straight forward pop tune but with a raw intensity.  The result is "Olha Pra Mim," the first single from an upcoming EP titled 1997.  dadá Joãozinho describes the track this way: "Me and Popoto (Raça) wanted to make a straight forward pop tune, make it as raw as it can be. Popoto's lyricism really inspired me to make things inteligible and relatable. We lived together for some months in 2020 and did a lot of music that found its way in other projects. So having this tune out together makes it a full circle moment for me."

dadá Joãozinho x Sem Limitessssss

dadá Joãozinho shares the video for "Sem Limitlesssss" from his most recent release tds bem Global.  Says  dadá Joãozinho about the song/video: “being in São Paulo inspired me to go off my limits, to grow, to know things about myself I couldn’t see.  It’s a song about desire really, about transformation.  I wanted this song and video to feel like a ritual, lead by this mantra, for breaking boundaries, going beyond what’s been said to be possible, beyond reality. It’s an imagination game, believing through this games we create new worlds.”

Rarelyalways x Manic EP

Rarelyalways released his brilliant "Baby Buffalo" EP last October to critical acclaim.  Pitchfork praised the Hackney raised jazz musician, producer and vocalist for carving out a niche of his own, whilst Billboard, amongst others, boldly predicted big things on the horizon.  Fast forward 6 months and "Manic" provides further evidence of his distinctive style and flavor.  Produced by Hanni El Khatib, grime, trip hop; jazz effortlessly intermingle with his unique, skeletal flow.  First single "Lamenting" echoed the importance of community support, and second single "Hungry" was written in his final years at secondary school, in the aftermath of the Mark Duggan shooting.  The EP is completed by rush hour inspired title-track "Manic" and sentimental opener "Careful."
